Frequently asked questions
Why doesn’t WP Full Picture scan the website for cookies like other cookie management solutions?
It does not have to. WP Full Picture manages the loading of tracking scripts, which create these cookies. Other consent management solutions do not know what tracking tools you use, so they scan for cookies to learn that.
Why WP Full Picture does not list all the cookies it blocks like some other CMP solutions?
Listing individual cookies is not required by GDPR nor the EU Cookies Directive. Although many CMP platforms try it, doing this is technically impossible, since there are millions of individual cookies and learning their specific purpose often requires knowledge of the code that uses them. Do you offer refunds?
We offer refunds for the WP Full Picture Pro plugin within 30 days of the original purchase date. We do not offer refunds for storing consents.
Does a single licence work on development sites too?
Yes it does. You can install any licence (even a single one) on any number of dev/staging sites you want. Your dev site just needs to follow this rule.
Can I display personalized ads on my website, e.g. with Google AdSense?
No. You will be only able to run non-personalized ads. WP Full Picture has no TCF certification for running personalized advertisements.
Can I change WP Full Picture plans after buying?
Yes you can. Please contact us via chat or email if you want to upgrade.
How are sites counted in WordPress Multisite?
In WordPress Multisite, each sub-site counts towards your plan’s limit.
Are proofs of consent/decline equal to the number of visitors?
No. Only new visitors are asked for consent.
Why is keeping proofs of consent a separate service?
Storing records of consent is a separate service, because unlike some WordPress plugins, we don’t save them in your website database but our cloud servers. Proofs of consent kept in a WordPress database are easy to modify, thus may not be considered valid proofs in court.
