How to use Force Load

In the settings pages of most modules for integrating tracking tools, you will find a special switch called “Force load”.

When you enable it, the tracking script of your tracking tool will load for all visitors – even for robots, logged in administrators, excluded users, locations and people that didn’t agree to cookies.

Enabling it may be sometimes necessary to validate installation of your tracking tools.

Example

Hotjar script needs to be validated before it can start tracking your visitors. Force-loading the script is the way to have it “visible” on page, during the validation process.

Attention. Turn “Force loading” off if you want your website to comply with privacy rules that require user consent before they are tracked.
