This update of WP Full Picture brings some long awaited features and important improvements. As usual, for the sake of safety, the update will be made available to websites in batches of 25% every 2 to 3 days. Updates will begin on October 14th.
Major tracking improvement for combined Google Tags
So far, WP Full Picture did not play well, when Google Analytics and Google Ads were loaded with the same tag. This update fixes it. From this moment on, Google Analytics and Google Ads you should face no issues when these tools are loaded from the same tag. WP Full Picture will simply send events to the right tool at the right time.
Important fixes for multilingual sites
We found out that multilingual plugins retrieve different ID of the privacy policy page depending on the language. This caused issues with the consent banner (which showed up every time a visitor switched languages) and consent storing (which stored several language versions of the privacy page but reported a single ID).
This update fixes it, by introducing a field in the Consent Banner module’s settings, where you will be able to add the ID of your main privacy policy – in the main language.
Removal of a free package of 1000 consents in the ConsentsDB
If you register a new website to our ConsentsDB service, you will no longer get 1000 free savings of visitors consents. To store consents, you will now have to purchase one of the available plans.
Geolocation module’s settings are moved to the General Settings
Setting responsible for the Geolocation are now a part of the “General settings” page. This simplifies the setup and makes the navigation in WP Full Picture easier.
