Records of consent
Store consent in your inbox or a cloud database
Keeping records of consents is required by GDPR, protects against potential fines, enables audit trails, and helps demonstrate responsible data handling practices.
Storage options
Some plugins store consents in your WordPress database. However, this allows you to modify them, which may not hold up in court. WP FP does not do this.
Instead, WP Full Picture lets you store records in 2 places – in your inbox (Pro) or in our cloud database (Pro & Free, requires additional payment). Consents stored in both these places cannot be modified without downloading, thus making them valid and strong proofs.
What is stored?
All consents are stored with:
- consent date and timezone
- location (if known)
- copy of privacy policy at the time of consent
- copy of privacy-related tracking settings of WP Full Picture’s modules
